Muslin is one of my favorite materials. And because I use it a lot, I have a lot of scraps. I took this Christmas wreath that I used in a vignette on my porch over the holidays (actually it was out until March...but that's besides the point.)
I unwound all the fake greenery tinsel and was left with a plastic frame to which I tied on pieces of muslin. I mixed in a few light coloured prints, too, that were quilting scraps.
It was a little time consuming, but I have lots of patience.
I added some burlap flowers to embellish it. The white flower I had on hand already, but it was purchased from the dollar store.
I had fun making this script ribbon out of torn muslin. In fact, I had so much fun making it and liked how it turned out so much, that I decided to add it to my Etsy shop.
It's now hanging on my front door, and I love it!
I have two small tables that I finished over the weekend to share soon... I'm just waiting for a sunny morning to take the pictures!
I picked up an oval coffee table today, and have already started on it... and I have a couple chairs to tackle soon, too. My husband has been on my case to clean out our shed!

Hi Cynthia! I love this muslin wreath idea. At first I thought it was a coffee filter wreath..kind of the same creamy ruffly look. Ihave been thinking about making one. Now I have a new idea!
